Another problem I have is with party’s ,party’s are a really fun aspect of the game and meeting other players is great! But. We also need to have more levels, after about 6 months of playing I hit level 50 I was happy but months later I’m bored and would like new levels to look forward to or want to achieve.

The best I can guess is that someone had access to re-shrink-wrap a game that was actually used or the code happened to be guessed and sold by some shady site somewhere in the past.
I had to contact support, get scolded, insist twice that I bought the game listed as new and it was still in shrink wrap when I got it, explain three times that my account and password are very different and no I don't know the security answer for that other account associated with the download and please stop trying to get into a different person's account omg, and then write my full legal name, Origin username, the date, and something else (don't remember what) on a sheet of paper, stick it inside the disc case with the code visible, and send the photo of that to support for them to finally give me entitlement to the expansion I purchased. I bought one of the expansion packs on disc and because I was forced to use a redemption code from the box in Origin instead of just installing straight from disc the oldschool way, it was all a hot mess. I love the customization of the sims 3 but I wonder if it’ll crash too much to be worth it.īe very careful with disc version, though! I ask the last question because my cousin owned the sims 3 when we were children and I could never play it because it would load and load and stall and stall and then crash before you could even complete create a sim.
My biggest question is: is it worth spending twenty bucks on the sims 3 in 2021? Also if I buy it through origin, would it still be compatible after the windows 11 update? Could my spare laptop (a Lenovo yoga from 2017) even handle the game? One friend swears by it and the other says it’s extremely boring like 4. I really can’t get over how boring it is even being creative and trying to stir up drama is boring.īecause of this boredom I was hoping maybe I would like the sims 3. I bought the sims 4 in 2019 when it was five dollars and have two expansions for it (university and vampires since I always wanted those expansions for the sims 2). However I don’t have any way to play 2 without relying on online downloads which is out of my comfort zone. I had 2 as a child after finding it in a charity shop bin for two bucks and I loved it. I never actually got a chance to play the sims 3. Playing the sims 3 on origin: is it worth it?
